The 15th Steering Group Meeting of the Priority Area 6 was held on September 14th 2021 in a virtual format.
Soil protection and restoration in the Danube Region was in the focus of the meeting, showing the best practice examples and overview of obligations and opportunities of having healthy soil with its contribution to combating climate change and providing many ecosystem services. Furthermore, the meeting included the presentation and discussion on the current State of Play and overview of all the activities that have been done since the last Steering Group Meeting held in July 2021, as well as announcement of upcoming events and new and emerging issues including the overview of stakeholders’ upcoming events and activities until January 2022.
The meeting was attended by 28 participants, Steering Group Members and Observers within the Priority Area 6: Biodiversity and Landscapes.
